Trigger is a 14.1 bay gelding connemara (not registered) cross. I have
owned him for 3 years and he is 15yrs old. He hacks out alone or in company and is currently stabled in Whimple. Very used to country lanes, hacking in Ashclyst forest and also crossing bridges over the A30. In the past 3 years I have predominately hacked him out locally, but have also taken part in riding club and pony club events inc showjumping, jumpcross and cross country and am pleased to say we have been in the rosettes. He has been a very honest jumper, but can be strong and fast so I have jumped him in a pelham, But otherwise out hacking he is just in a snaffle. His previous owner with whom I am still in contact also competed him successfully and I would say that be would be a good pony for someone who has some experience/ is confident and could be used as a mother/child share (as in his last home). He is not though one for the dressage or a novice rider! He can live in or out and usually gets by with just his front feet shod, although if a more significant amount of roadwork is undertaken he does need to be fully shod.
