Orders are now being taken for a wide range of purebred pullets. All these breeds have been imported from the UK over the past couple of years. It is our intention to sell birds at 14-16 weeks of age; priced at £15 each. To gauge demand we would be grateful if anyone wanting to order specific breeds could let us know as soon as possible so that we will know what to hatch. It
is hoped the first lot will be ready by March/April 2004. There will
also be cockerels available for some breeds at £20 each. We
will also be taking orders for Rhode Island Red and Light Sussex at £8
per pullet and £12 per cockerel and Mongrel hens and Bantams at £7 per
pullet. It
is also our intention to sell day old pullets at £2.50 each. The first
of these should be ready March/April 2004. However if demand were great
enough it would be hoped to continue at regular intervals throughout the
year. A
small quantity of Chinese Geese will also be available at £45 per pair.
Although very pretty these geese are incredibly noisy and are not
recommended if you have close neighbours! Photo’s
