The web site was set up for people to make use of for advertising over the Internet, especially those who do not have their own web site. This is very cheap and effective. Unfortunately the advertising part has not been as popular as we hoped. The site gets a lot of visitors but not many of you seem so keen to make use of it! We would just like to thank those who do use it.
It is up to you to make it interesting by having things added every day so that when you all come back to look there is something new to look at!

The Charity side of it has proved fairly popular though and we have been able to raise money for quite a lot of charities through our prize draws. The prize draws seem popular once we get them up and running but trying to get businesses to donate prizes is another matter! You would think I was asking for donations of thousands of pounds when approaching some of the large businesses! On the other hand we have some very generous folk who continue to make donations and to them we are very grateful along with the charities they are helping to support.

The web site can only continue to operate if you the visitor will make use of it. Money raised from our adverts help with running costs and much of it goes back into Charity.

Please feel free to continue to use the message board it will be censored so any rude or insulting messages will be censored! You will not be able to sell items through the message board.

What better way to send Birthday / Christmas messages to your friends than on our personal page, you can use your own photographs or ask for us to add an appropriate clip art picture, to make it more appealing. I hope that people in camp especially will find this site really useful and that it will be an easy and cheap way for people without their own web sites to be able to make use of the Internet.
